  • During initial hour of diag technician found that car would not start due to a ground shorted Hi-Speed Can Bus. Technician Request additional time to trace wires and modules to find the cause for the short to ground. During wire chasing technician found that when disconnecting the bulk head connector for the Occupant Classification Module, that the ground short would go away. After removing Passenger seat technician found where several wires were rubbing the seat frame. Technician re-taped and re-secured the wires.
